Club Shirt by Harley Davidson Museum Originals, Chain Stitching by Iron Thread in Collabration with KnickerBocker MFG. Co.

Chain Stitching Patch , Featured , Harley Davidson

Over the past few years we’ve teamed up with KnickerBocker MFG. Co. based in Brookyln, NY to work on some archive reproduction garments for Harley Davidson Museum.  KnickerBocker created the concepts and manufacturing of the shirts and then Iron Thread jumped in adding the vintage style stitching based on the shirt style and era in time.

“Motorcycle club shirts of the 1940’s and 50’s often included piping to contrast with the shirt color. The shirt was part of an overall uniform, which sometimes recalled a police or other uniform. The chain stitched back is faithfully reproduced on this garment.”
