Electric Lady Recording Studios Celebrates 50 years in Greenwich Village, New York/New York

Featured

We recently worked with our friends over at Electric Lady Studios creating a different style patch for a merchandise product they are working on as they celebrate 50 years recording some of the best creative music in the world. The finished patch ended up being more unique then previous patches we have worked on with the ELS team. The patch is on a eggshell chino twill with close matching thread finished off but bold black thread highlights. The Iron Thread team wants to wish them a Happy 50th! Here’s to another 50.

“Fifty years ago — on Aug. 26, 1970 — Jimi Hendrix opened a psychedelic recording space in Greenwich Village, N.Y. Created by an artist and for artists, Electric Lady Studios broke the mold for what a recording studio could be.”
